What it does
Bookings live in Business > NETICS CRM > Bookings, and they are not built for one trade. A resource can be a table, a treatment room, a stylist's chair, a doctor, a vehicle, a hall or anything else you can book, because its type is whatever you write.
Each booking has a kind (Appointment, Reservation, Meeting, Event, Activity or Session), a time, an optional resource, an organiser and attendees, and, for customer bookings, the customer, the service, the party size and a price in naira. It can be Customer-facing or Internal only, so the team diary and the customer schedule share one calendar without mixing up who is told what.
Bookings move through clear statuses: Pending, Confirmed, Checked in, Completed, Cancelled, No show and Waitlist. The page counts today's and upcoming bookings, the share of upcoming bookings that are confirmed, the no-show rate and the waitlist, with a 14-day chart and a status split underneath.
Who it is for
Any business that runs on time slots: a salon or spa in Lekki, a clinic in Ibadan, a shortlet or hotel in Abuja, a restaurant taking table reservations, a training centre running sessions, or an office booking meeting rooms. See how this fits beauty and wellness, healthcare and clinics and hotels and hospitality.
How it works in NETICS
- Press Add resource. Give it a Name, a Type in your own words, a Capacity, a Status, a Location, an optional Price per booking (NGN), Features such as projector or sea view, a Description, and Bookable hours: the days it can be booked and when it opens and closes.
- Press New booking. Pick the kind, add a title, choose who can see it and its priority, then set When (date, start and end, or all day), Where (a room or resource, an address, or an online meeting link), People (an organiser and attendees, including outside guests by email) and the Customer with the service, number of people and price.
- To repeat it, choose Every day, Every week or Every month and end it after a number of times or on a date. Later you can change just this booking, this and the following ones, or the whole series.
- Work from the view that suits you. Calendar shows a day, week or month and lets you drag a booking to a new time. List supports search, bulk status changes and CSV export. Resources shows each room or item with its upcoming bookings.
- Filter by room or resource, organiser or status, tick Only mine, or show cancelled bookings.
- Run the day from each booking's menu: Confirm, Reschedule, Complete, Mark no-show, Cancel booking with a reason, Restore, Duplicate or Delete. Every change is kept in the booking's own history.
Key capabilities
- Resources for anything. Free-text types, capacity, location, price, features, weekly bookable hours and a status such as under maintenance.
- Heads-up before a clash. When a room or organiser is already taken, or the time is outside the resource's hours, NETICS warns you before you save. It is a warning, not a block, so you stay in charge.
- Waitlist and no-shows. Waiting customers get their own strip at the top of the page, and the no-show rate is tracked.
- Repeat bookings. Daily, weekly or monthly series of up to 100 occurrences.
- Part of the customer record. Customer bookings appear on the customer's timeline in NETICS CRM, and the Dashboard lists your next appointments.
- Ask NETICS. From the NETICS orb or NETICS Chat, owners and admins can ask NETICS to book something; it prepares the booking and waits for your OK before saving it.
- Booking requests from customers. If your Business blueprint says you take appointments, your NETICS agent in website chat and on calls collects the service, the preferred time, a name and a phone number, reads back a summary, and after the customer confirms, logs the request under Operations > Requests for your team to confirm.
- Bookings API and webhooks. Your own systems can list, create and update bookings with an API key, and receive booking created, status changed and deleted events. See the developer platform.
- Google Calendar connector. Connect Google Calendar under Platform > Connectors and NETICS can read your calendar and suggest free slots in working hours when you ask, creating an event only after your OK.
Plan availability
Bookings, resources, repeat bookings, the calendar and list views and CSV export are on every plan, including the 3-day free trial (no card needed). The bookings API is on every plan from the trial. Booking requests by phone need a managed phone number, which comes with Growth (NGN 200,000 a month). On Enterprise, a booking section on a site built with the Website Builder lets visitors pick an open time that respects the resource's hours and capacity, and that booking lands straight in this calendar. Prices exclude VAT.
What it does not do yet
NETICS does not send automatic booking reminders to customers by SMS, WhatsApp or email. The website chat widget has no calendar for customers to pick a slot from, and NETICS does not take bookings on WhatsApp. There is no calendar subscription feed for bookings, and the Google Calendar connector does not copy NETICS bookings into Google Calendar automatically. A booking records a price but has no payment link of its own.
Frequently asked questions
Is this only for restaurants or salons?
No. The type of resource is free text, and the six kinds of booking cover customer appointments and reservations as well as internal meetings, events, activities and training sessions.
Will NETICS stop two people booking the same room?
In the console, NETICS warns you when a room or organiser is already taken or the time falls outside the bookable hours, and lets you decide. On an Enterprise website's booking section, a time is only offered while there is space left, and it is checked again at the moment of booking.
Can customers book through my NETICS agent?
They can ask. When your Business blueprint says you take appointments, NETICS gathers the details in website chat or on a call, confirms them with the customer and passes a request to your team, who then confirm the slot and put it on the calendar.
Can I connect my own booking system?
Yes. With an API key your system can create and update bookings in NETICS, and webhooks tell it when a booking is created, changes status or is deleted. If you already use Calendly, the Calendly connector under Connectors lets NETICS work with it when you ask.
Does it handle repeating appointments?
Yes. Set a booking to repeat every day, week or month, and end it after a number of occurrences or on a date. When something changes, choose whether it applies to one booking, the following ones or the whole series.
