The problems churches, mosques and ministries face
- The same questions, every week. What time is the service, where do we park, how do I give. A volunteer answers them one WhatsApp message at a time, often late at night.
- First timers come once and nobody calls. The visitor cards sit in a drawer until the person has settled somewhere else.
- Attendance lives on paper. A headcount tells you how many came, not who. Nobody notices that a regular family has not been seen for a month.
- Announcements travel through personal phones. Messages are forwarded from group to group, with no record of who agreed to receive them.
- Member details are scattered. Each department keeps its own list in a spreadsheet, a paper form or somebody's phone.
- The website cannot keep up. This week's programme is updated by hand, if at all.
How NETICS solves them
Answers for visitors, at any hour
Put your service times, directions, beliefs and giving details in the Knowledge Base. Your NETICS agent answers visitors on your website chat from the documents you published and nothing else. When it cannot answer, it passes the person to your team in the Omnichannel Inbox with a short summary. It can reply in English, Nigerian Pidgin, Yoruba, Igbo or Hausa, and it answers questions people send you on WhatsApp too.
Members, services and attendance
During setup, choose Only need a backend for your own website or app?, then "Church, mosque or ministry" under "What is the website for?". NETICS adds your regular services, for example "Sunday service" at 09:00 or "Midweek service" at 18:00, every week, and shows your developer a server key once. No AI agent questions are asked; you can add the agent later from the dashboard.
The Attendance page then lists your services and events. Check people in by name or phone as they arrive; guests such as children or a spouse are counted with the person who brought them. Two lists do the pastoral work: First timers, people whose first time with you was in the last four weeks, and Stopped coming, people who came at least twice in the twelve weeks before and not once since. Members can sign in on your own site with a six-digit code sent by email and check themselves in. Database & Apps holds your own lists, such as prayer requests. The developer platform covers the API, a keyless feed of your listed services and a downloadable Next.js church starter site.
Messages to people who agreed
Keep members and visitors in NETICS CRM. Under Broadcasts, send an email or SMS to contacts marked subscribed. Imported lists do not count as consent. Every email carries an unsubscribe link and every SMS ends with "Reply STOP to opt out". WhatsApp broadcasts are not available. A first timers form under Tools, Forms can start an automation that tags the person and puts a follow-up on your team's list.
Rooms, counselling and events
Bookings holds meetings, appointments and events. Add the main auditorium or a counselling room as a resource with its capacity and hours, and set a meeting to repeat every week.
A website, if you want one
On Enterprise, the Website Builder has a "Church or ministry" layout: a home page with service times and Plan your visit, About, Ministries, and a Give page with a payment or donation section. The Blog, for sermons and news, is open on every plan.
An example day
- Saturday, 10pm. A visitor asks the website chat of an Ibadan church what time Sunday service starts and whether there is parking. NETICS answers from the published programme.
- Sunday, 8:40am. Ushers check people in on the Attendance page. A first timer gives her name and number at the welcome desk.
- Sunday, 3pm. The welfare lead opens First timers and Stopped coming, and shares the names with the follow-up team.
- Wednesday. The administrator emails subscribed members about the midweek service from NETICS CRM.
Which plan fits
- Pay as you go (no monthly fee) has Starter's features with 1 agent and 1 seat, paid from credits as you use them, 3 credits (NGN 45) for each AI answer.
- Starter (NGN 50,000 a month) covers the website chat agent with 1,500 AI answers a month, WhatsApp, the Knowledge Base, NETICS CRM, forms, up to 10 automations switched on at once, Bookings and the Blog. Broadcasts are paid per message from usage credits.
- Growth (NGN 200,000 a month) adds members, attendance and Database & Apps, the services feed for your own site, 10,000 AI answers a month, email broadcasts with no per-email charge, more than one branch for a ministry with several locations, and 15 seats. SMS is NGN 10 a message from credits on every plan.
- Enterprise adds the Website Builder with domains, hosting and business email.
The 3-day free trial previews Starter, so attendance is not part of it. The trial needs no card. See pricing for every allowance.
Frequently asked questions
Can a mosque or a fellowship use NETICS?
Yes. The onboarding choice is "Church, mosque or ministry", and the names of your gatherings are yours: Jumu'ah, Sunday service, a Bible study or a youth night. Industry is only a label in NETICS and never limits what you can switch on.
We already have a website. Can we keep it?
Yes. The backend-only setup is made for that. Your developer calls NETICS from the website's server with a key from API & Webhooks, or starts from the church starter site. Members, attendance and the services feed need the Growth plan.
Can NETICS send WhatsApp messages to all our members?
No. Broadcasts go by email and SMS, and only to contacts who agreed to receive them. On WhatsApp, NETICS answers the questions people send you.
How do we follow up first timers?
Check them in like anyone else. The First timers list shows everyone whose first visit was in the last four weeks, with the service they first came to, so your follow-up team knows who to call.
Who can see our members' details?
Only people in your workspace, and what each person sees follows their role under Roles & access. Each workspace is kept separate from every other at the database level.
