What it does
Orders live in Business > NETICS CRM > Orders, on the Order Management page. Every order sits on a board with one column per step, or in a table you can filter, export and update in bulk. You choose the steps, rename them in your own words, and NETICS keeps the last step locked until the payment company has verified the customer's payment.
Payment links settle to your own bank account. You add your bank once under Integrations, NETICS sets up a settlement route for it with Paystack or Flutterwave, and order money lands there on the payment company's schedule. NETICS takes 0% of your sales; the payment company's fee still applies.
Orders come from your team, from your NETICS agent in website chat and on calls, from the Omnichannel Inbox, and from your own website through the public API.
Who it is for
Any business that sells and delivers: a restaurant like the fictional Mama Ada's Kitchen taking jollof orders for delivery or pickup, a fashion label selling online, a distributor shipping cartons, or a repair company working on site. See restaurants and food and retail and e-commerce.
How it works in NETICS
- Fill the catalogue under Business > NETICS CRM > Products: Add product, import a CSV or JSON file, Import from a document you uploaded to Knowledge, or Read my website. The catalogue is the only list NETICS sells from, at these exact prices.
- On the Orders page, press Order flow and pick one of four flows in "How your orders move": Services and projects, Products and parcels, Food and kitchen or Instant or digital. Under Name the steps your way you can rename any step, then press Use this order flow.
- Connect your bank under Platform > Integrations > "Get paid to your bank": choose your bank, enter your 10-digit account number, confirm the account name the bank returns, and payments are on.
- Take an order with New order: pick a saved customer or type a name, choose how it reaches the customer, add items, and choose No discount, Amount or Percent. The subtotal, discount and total update as you type.
- Get paid. Press Collect payment in the order, then Open checkout or Copy payment link to send it. The customer pays on a NETICS payment page that names your business. Check payment asks the payment company there and then.
- Move the order with Advance, the card's Move button, or drag and drop. An unpaid order shows Payment required before the last step.
- Press Invoice to raise an invoice for the order in Finance, carrying the same items and discount.
Key capabilities
- Four order flows. Services and projects (Requested to Completed), Products and parcels (New to Delivered), Food and kitchen (Pending to Delivered, with delivery, pickup or dine in) and Instant or digital (Pending, Confirmed, Completed).
- Payment before done. No order reaches its final step until a verified payment arrives, even when staff move it by hand.
- Orders taken by NETICS. In website chat and voice, your agent gathers the items, delivery or pickup and contact details, shows a summary, and creates the order only after the customer says yes, with the checkout link straight after. On calls to a NETICS phone line, the order is placed and the payment link goes to the customer's email or your team.
- Discounts from your team only. Staff can take an amount or a percentage off after a negotiation. Websites, the API and NETICS's own channels cannot give discounts.
- Stock that keeps up. When an order is paid, the quantities come off each product's stock count, and a product that reaches zero stops being offered.
- Refunds. Refund original payment returns a paid order's charge through the same payment company, and the order shows refunded once the provider confirms.
- Alerts that reach you. The team gets a "New order" notification, and a connected WhatsApp business number gets an order alert you can answer with CONFIRM, PREPARING, READY, OUT or DELIVERED and the order reference.
- Operations at a glance. User Management > Operations shows orders received today and flags confirmed orders not yet paid.
- Public orders API. Your website can create orders with an Idempotency-Key, so one shopping bag makes one order even if a request repeats, ask for a checkout link with a return_url and cancel_url, and hear about payment by webhook. See the developer platform.
Plan availability
Orders, order flows, Products, payment links, discounts, refunds and invoices from orders are on every plan, including the 3-day free trial (no card needed). NETICS taking orders in website chat and voice works from the trial up, once at least one product is in stock. Orders by phone need a managed phone number, which comes with Growth (NGN 200,000 a month). The full Inventory stock ledger needs Growth; the simple stock count on each product works on every plan. The public API is on every plan from the trial. Prices exclude VAT.
What it does not do yet
NETICS answers questions on WhatsApp but does not take orders or send checkout links there by itself; your team sends a payment link from the Omnichannel Inbox. Order status updates are not pushed to customers on WhatsApp. Payouts go to Nigerian bank accounts through Paystack or Flutterwave only, refunds are full refunds, and you cannot plug in your own Paystack or Flutterwave keys. Options such as size are not priced or stocked separately. Escrow, provider payouts and carrier tracking are not available.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need my own Paystack or Flutterwave account?
No. You add your bank account in Integrations and NETICS sets up the settlement route for you, so customer payments go to your account without you managing any payment keys. NETICS takes 0% of your sales; only the payment company's fee applies.
When does the money reach my bank?
The payment is confirmed as soon as the customer pays. The money follows the payment company's settlement schedule, usually the next business day, and weekends or holidays can change that.
Can someone on my team mark an order as paid?
No. An order becomes paid only when the payment company confirms the charge, so nobody can mark money as received by mistake. Check payment asks the provider straight away.
Why does a payment link ask for the customer's email?
Online checkout needs an email address for the customer, so NETICS asks you to add one before it creates a link. A link stays open for 30 minutes, and asking again for the same unpaid order reuses it.
Can NETICS take orders without my staff?
Yes, in website chat and voice, and on calls to a NETICS phone line. NETICS sells only what is in your catalogue at your prices, confirms with the customer before creating the order, and each one shows on the board marked Taken by AI.
