The problems financial service providers face
- The same questions, answered differently. What do I need for a loan, how long does a claim take. Two staff members give two answers, and a wrong answer about money causes real trouble.
- Applications in spreadsheets. Loan, membership or claim applications sit in a sheet or a cabinet, and customers call daily to ask where theirs stands.
- Support spread across phones. Complaints arrive on WhatsApp, by email and at the branch, and nobody can show what happened to each one.
- Auditors ask who did what. Without a log, proving who approved a request or changed a record means searching emails.
- Deadlines that matter. Licence renewals, returns and policy reviews depend on one person's diary.
- Access by branch and role. Not every officer should see every customer's details.
How NETICS solves them
Answers only from what you approved
Upload your product sheets, requirements, fees and hours to the Knowledge Base and publish the ones customers may see. Your NETICS agent answers on your website chat from Published documents only. When they do not cover a question, it does not guess: it offers a person. Documents you keep Private stay with your team, who can search them in NETICS Chat with citations to the source. The same answers reach customers who message you on WhatsApp, and on Growth, callers to a NETICS phone line through voice calls.
NETICS never performs a regulated action. It does not approve an application, move money or settle a transaction on its own; those decisions stay with your staff.
Applications and claims with a person deciding
During setup, pick "Processes applications or claims" under how your business works with customers. NETICS switches on the "Application or claim" process: Submitted, Under review, Additional info needed, then Approved or Rejected. Approval and rejection are human decisions, recorded as such, and no staff override can skip them. Each application is a request on the Requests tab under Operations, with its status and the person it is assigned to. A request from website chat is filed only after the customer confirms the summary.
For desks that handle higher-risk transactions, such as a bureau de change, a "High-risk transaction request" process is available under Operations, Processes. It runs identity verification, compliance review, a quote, the customer's confirmation and human approval before payment, and records external settlement only after verified evidence. No setup answer switches it on: an owner must activate it.
Support cases in one inbox
Pick "Handles customer support" and NETICS adds the "Support case" process: open, investigating, waiting on customer, escalated, resolved and closed. Website chat, voice calls, WhatsApp and a connected mailbox meet in the Omnichannel Inbox. A person can take over a chat, and when NETICS hands a customer over it leaves a summary. For email, NETICS only drafts replies; a person sends them. Each customer is a record in NETICS CRM.
Records, access and deadlines
Settings, Audit Log is an append-only record of security-relevant actions: sign-ins, role changes, documents published, records approved or exported, and actions NETICS took after someone confirmed them. Owners and admins can read it on every plan; exporting it to CSV is on Enterprise. Roles & access decides what each role may see and do, Approvals sets who signs off above a threshold, and the owner can set how long conversations are kept.
On Enterprise, Legal matters in My Enterprise tracks licences, permits, compliance items and contracts, each with a next deadline. Finance handles your own invoices and expenses on every plan.
An example day
- 7am. A member of a Port Harcourt cooperative asks the website chat what a loan application needs. NETICS answers from the published requirements sheet.
- 9am. Her application, filed from the chat after she confirmed it, sits in Submitted. An officer moves it to Under review.
- 11am. The officer needs a payslip and moves it to Additional info needed, then back to review when it arrives.
- 3pm. The credit manager approves it. The decision and who made it stay on the record.

Frequently asked questions
Can NETICS approve a loan or a claim?
No. In the Application or claim process, approval and rejection need a person, and no override skips that step. NETICS can take the request and answer questions from your documents; the decision stays with your staff.
Will NETICS quote a rate that is not in our documents?
It answers customers only from Published documents and your published business profile. If a rate or rule is not there, it says so and offers a person. When a figure changes, NETICS can find where the old one is written and update it once you confirm.
Can we keep internal policies away from customers?
Yes. Mark a document Private and only your team can use it, through NETICS Chat and the console. Your customer-facing agent reads Published documents only.
Does NETICS connect to our core banking or policy system?
There is no ready-made connection to one. Your developers can use the public API and signed webhooks to pass customers, requests and events between NETICS and your own systems.
Can we prove who did what?
Yes. The audit log records security-relevant actions with the person, the action, the target, the IP address and the time. On Enterprise you can export it as a CSV file for your auditors.
